誰かに贈られた風呂敷に、思わず笑顔がこぼれるひととき。
そんな些細だけれど深く残る瞬間には、目に見えない“想い”がそっと込められていると私たちは信じています。
KASHIKOは、九谷焼の作家とともに、アートを暮らしの中へ届けることを目指して生まれました。
それは、決して華やかで目立つものではありません。
けれども、静かに、そして確かに、人の心に残る──そんな“日常の中の美”をかたちにしていきたいと考えています。

伝統と現代、作り手と使い手、文化と生活の橋渡しをしていきたいと願っています。

At KASHIKO, there is one belief we hold close in everything we create:

For example, a sheet of letter paper that gently softens the heart the moment you touch it.
A furoshiki wrapping cloth that brings an unexpected smile when received as a gift.
We believe that in those small yet deeply resonant moments,

KASHIKO was born from a desire to bring art into everyday life, in collaboration with Kutani ware artists.
Not as something flashy or attention-grabbing,
but as something quiet, sincere, and deeply memorable.
We want to shape beauty in the everyday,
a kind of beauty that stays with you.
What we create—furoshiki, stationery, small ceramic pieces, and gifts—
are all infused with the honest passion of the artists
and gentle consideration for those who receive them.
To carry traditional crafts into the future, they must first be used.
Not just as objects to be admired, but as tools for everyday life.
Through this, we hope to become a bridge—
between tradition and the present, between makers and users, between culture and daily living.

KASHIKO’s furoshiki is a unique item where Japanese tradition meets modern elegance. Each piece is meticulously hand-dyed by skilled artisans at the Baba Dyeing Workshop in Kyoto, a studio with over 100 years of history. The designs are created by Kutani ceramic artists, blending timeless beauty with contemporary aesthetics.
More than just fabric gift wrap, this versatile cloth can also be used as a lunch box wrap, eco-friendly bag, or even a scarf, making it suitable for both everyday use and special occasions. Available in two sizes, 70 cm x 70 cm and 90 cm x 90 cm, it is made from 100% cotton and is machine washable, ensuring durability and reusability. It’s the perfect choice for those embracing a sustainable lifestyle.
This is an original KASHIKO furoshiki, featuring gracefully swimming goldfish, beautifully illustrated by a Kutani ware artist.
Eight different types of goldfish glide playfully across the fabric, creating a lively and elegant scene. Each piece is meticulously hand-dyed by skilled artisans, using more than ten colors—a level of craftsmanship that sets it apart from ordinary furoshiki, making it a truly luxurious and exquisite piece.
