KASHIKOがものづくりを始めた原点には、ひとつの想いがありました。
それは、「誰かを想う気持ちに、そっと寄り添いたい」という願いです。

日々の暮らしの中で、ふと大切な人のことを思い出す瞬間があります。
誕生日や記念日でなくても、「元気かな？」「ありがとうって伝えたいな」──
そんな静かな想いが胸に宿るとき、私たちは、その気持ちを託す“かたち”を探します。

便箋を選ぶ。風呂敷を包む。手紙を書く。
その行為の一つひとつに込められているのは、言葉にしきれないやさしさです。
KASHIKOの製品は、そんなやさしさをそっと引き立てる存在でありたいと考えています。

私たちが扱うのは、九谷焼の作家による絵柄を活かした文房具や風呂敷。
どれも派手ではないけれど、手にしたときにほっと心がなごみ、
贈られた人に「ああ、気にかけてくれていたんだ」と思ってもらえるようなものばかりです。

大量生産では決して生まれない、ぬくもりと時間の積み重ね。
それこそが、KASHIKOが目指す“ものづくり”です。

To Quietly Accompany the Heart of the Giver – The Philosophy of KASHIKO

At the heart of KASHIKO’s craftsmanship lies a quiet wish —
to gently accompany the feelings that arise when we think of someone dear.

In our daily lives, there are quiet moments when we remember someone we care about.
Even if it’s not their birthday or a special occasion, we may find ourselves thinking,
“I wonder how they’re doing.”
“I just want to say thank you.”

In those moments, we often seek a form to carry that feeling.
We choose the right stationery. We wrap a gift in a furoshiki. We write a letter.
Each of these actions holds a kindness too subtle to put into words.

At KASHIKO, we hope our creations can gently support and amplify that kindness.

We work with hand-dyed furoshiki and paper goods featuring original designs by Kutani ceramic artists.
They are not flashy. But when held in the hands, they bring a quiet sense of warmth.
